Lana Del Rey stirs up a medley of conflicting feelings within, as we watch her music videos and listen to the lulling sound of her voice. She seems all at once to embody a naive girl with all the delusions of cinema romance and a rebellious young woman getting an education in the vices of everyday life. She’s beautiful and carefully styled by some team of geniuses and we think her youthful retro feminine look is as envious as it is timeless.
